The Green Studio —

Sitting opposite the Butterfly House, The Studio is a garden based creative work space for our Client’s business.  The studio shape and orientation has resulted from a sunlight analysis to minimise its impact on the surrounding buildings and ensure high levels of day lighting to the resultant garden and work spaces. A terrace system helps to conceal its mass and facilitates the flowing groundscape transition between floor and wall.

The Studio is to be a mesh system planted climbing wall, continuing the garden profile up and over the building creating a vegetative green landscape.

The building is to be built using modern methods of construction to ensure the lowest possible carbon footprint along with a speedy build time.  This project is due for completion in December 2012.
